Over 10 million people learn science, math, data, and programming on Brilliant. As Senior Illustrator, Tou created engaging visuals that made those topics fun and approachable.

Senior Illustrator

Tou spent nearly four years as Senior Illustrator building the visual systems that made those lessons click, spanning content illustration, interactive diagrams, product design, and marketing.

He worked on the Art Team within the Content department, where he played a key role in shaping the visual language of the platform. The following selection highlights his work across four focus areas.

Content

Working within Brilliant's in-house illustration system, Tou created static art, animations, interactive assets, and course product icons, and owned the management of the platform's extensive asset library.

Interactive Diagrams

Tou designed and prototyped interactive diagrams embedded directly in Brilliant's lessons, creating the visual assets and iconography while collaborating with producers, product designers, and engineers to ensure technical feasibility and brand alignment.
